Despite outhitting their opponent 11–7, the Tigers came up just short in a back-and-forth contest featuring multiple lead changes. They rallied from an early deficit, took the lead in the third, and later tied the game again in the seventh after an error. Strong offensive performances included multiple players contributing key hits and RBIs, while the starting pitcher recorded nine strikeouts over six innings. The Tigers will face the Wildkats next on Friday.
