Middle School vs ROCHESTER COMMUNITY MD SCH (14 - 15) Loss Peru Tigers Fall To Rochester middle school Despite Strong Effort From Emersyn B By GameChanger Media Emersyn B collected three hits in three at bats, but Peru Tigers lost to Rochester middle school 15-14 on Monday at Peru Athletic Complex. Emersyn doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the seventh inning. Despite the loss, Peru Tigers did collect 18 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Rochester middle school had 23 hits on the way to victory. Rochester middle school opened the scoring in the first after Baylee B singled, scoring one run. Rochester middle school scored eight runs on 11 hits in the top of the second inning. Alex P singled, scoring one run, Maddie Z singled, scoring three runs, Allie M singled, scoring one run, Harper R singled, scoring one run, a steal of home scored one run, and Kaylynn M singled, scoring one run. Rochester middle school scored two runs in the top of the third on a home run to left field by Maddie. Peru Tigers scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Raymi C singled, scoring two runs, Emersyn doubled, scoring three runs, and Maddie K singled, scoring one run. Jocelyn C led things off in the circle for Peru Tigers. The starting pitcher gave up 23 hits and 15 runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking none. Harper led things off in the circle for Rochester middle school. The starter surrendered six hits and nine runs over three and one-third innings, striking out four and walking eight. Peru Tigers accumulated 18 hits in the game. Allie S, Emersyn, Maddie, and Della S each collected three hits for Peru Tigers. Raymi and Kinzie N each collected multiple hits for Peru Tigers. Peru Tigers had a strong eye at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game. Bella L and Raymi led the team with two bases on balls each. Allie, Emersyn, Maddie, Della, Layla R, Bella, Raymi, and Jocelyn each stole multiple bases for Peru Tigers. Peru Tigers ran wild on the base paths, tallying 24 stolen bases for the game. Rochester middle school amassed 23 hits in the game. Maddie led Rochester middle school with four hits in five at bats from the leadoff position. Allie, Macie W, Baylee, Kinley F, and Heidi S each collected multiple hits for Rochester middle school. Maddie, Alex, Baylee, Harper, Heidi, and #73 each stole multiple bases for Rochester middle school. Rochester middle school ran wild on the base paths, tallying 20 stolen bases for the game. Rochester middle school turned one double play in the game. Rochester middle school were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Allie had the most chances in the field with 10.
