In the top of the second inning, Peru Junior Varsity Tigers went back into the lead after Ashton Morehead doubled down the left field line, Logan Rogers walked, and Lucas Rodriguez walked, each scoring one run. Mason McGuire stepped on the mound first for Peru Junior Varsity Tigers. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and one run over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking none.
