Middle School vs NORTHWESTERN MIDDLE SCHOOL (8 - 4) Win Peru Jr High Tigers Beat Northwestern Tigers By GameChanger Media Peru Jr High Tigers were triumphant over Northwestern Tigers 8-4 on Tuesday. Peru Jr High Tigers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Jayvier Hunt drew a walk, scoring one run, Owen L induced Max Olson to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Lucas Green singled, scoring one run, Liam Hoover was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Liam Sopher singled, scoring one run, and a dropped third strike scored two runs. Peru Jr High Tigers added one run in the second. Olson walked, making the score 8-2. Hunter Durocher pitched four and two-thirds innings in relief for Peru Jr High Tigers. The hurler surrendered four hits and two runs while, striking out six and walking three. Olson led things off on the mound for Peru Jr High Tigers. The right-handed pitcher surrendered zero hits and two runs over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking three. L stepped on the bump first for Northwestern Tigers. The righty gave up four hits and seven runs (five earned) over one inning, striking out three and walking one. Durocher, Olson, Hunt, Sopher, Finley Drook, Green, Pierce Babbs, and Rory Donathan each collected one hit for Peru Jr High Tigers. Olson and Sopher each drove in one run for Peru Jr High Tigers.
