Middle School vs Delphi Community Middle School (4 - 14) Loss Peru Tigers Fall To Delphi Middle School Despite Strong Effort From Raymi C By GameChanger Media Raymi C collected three hits in three at bats, but Peru Tigers lost to Delphi Middle School 14-4 on Wednesday at Peru Athletic Complex. Raymi doubled in the first inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the third inning. Peru Tigers opened the scoring in the first after Raymi doubled, scoring two runs. Delphi Middle School flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring seven runs on six hits to take the lead, 7-2. Delphi Middle School added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Reaghan M doubled down the right field line, Rachel C tripled to center field, Brayleigh R singled , and Kaelyn doubled down the right field line, each scoring one run. Reaghan earned the win for Delphi Middle School. The starter gave up eight hits and four runs over five innings, striking out six and walking three. Jocelyn C took the loss for Peru Tigers. The starter went four and one-third innings, giving up 14 runs (eight earned) on 14 hits, striking out four and walking one. Peru Tigers collected eight hits in the game. Della S and Jocelyn each collected multiple hits for Peru Tigers. Jocelyn stole two bases. Delphi Middle School accumulated 14 hits in the game. Rachel and Kaelyn each collected three hits for Delphi Middle School. Rachel and Kaelyn each drove in three runs for Delphi Middle School. Brayleigh and Delyla A each collected multiple hits for Delphi Middle School. Ava S and Brayleigh each stole multiple bases for Delphi Middle School. Delphi Middle School ran wild on the base paths, accumulating nine stolen bases for the game. Delphi Middle School were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
