Middle School vs Logansport Junior High School (4 - 4) Tie Neither Team Pulls Away As Peru Jr High Tigers And Logansport Junior High Berries Tie By GameChanger Media Peru Jr High Tigers and Logansport Junior High Berries tied 4-4 on Tuesday. A double by Isaac Church put Peru Jr High Tigers on the board in the top of the third. In the bottom of the third inning, Logansport Junior High Berries went back into the lead after Caleb Foster walked, and Peru Jr High Tigers committed an error, each scoring one run. Peru Jr High Tigers jumped back into the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Hunter Durocher singled to center field, and Liam Sopher grounded out, each scoring one run. Logansport Junior High Berries captured the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the fourth after Peru Jr High Tigers committed an error, and Lucas Angle singled to right field, each scoring one run. Lucas Green singled to center field, which helped Peru Jr High Tigers tie the game at four in the top of the fifth. Durocher started on the hill for Peru Jr High Tigers. The hurler gave up two hits and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking four. Elijah Eskildsen started on the bump for Logansport Junior High Berries. The starter allowed three hits and three runs over four innings, striking out three and walking five. Durocher, Church, and Green each drove in one run for Peru Jr High Tigers. Church led Peru Jr High Tigers with two hits in three at bats. Max Olson paced Peru Jr High Tigers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game.
