Middle School vs Delphi Community (12 - 23) Loss All Offense In Peru Tigers Loss Against Delphi Middle School By GameChanger Media Bats were blistered on Wednesday, but Peru Tigers couldn't quite get the job done against Delphi Middle School and lost 23-12. Delphi Middle School collected 21 hits, while Peru Tigers had eight. Raymi C collected three hits in three at bats in the loss. Raymi doubled in the third inning, singled in the fifth inning, and singled in the first inning. Delphi Middle School jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Rachel C tripled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, an error scored one run, and a passed ball scored one run. Delphi Middle School scored five runs on six hits in the top of the second inning. Delphi Middle School scored six runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. Reaghan singled, scoring one run, Adalee P doubled, scoring one run, Kaelyn tripled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, an error scored one run, and Avery S singled, scoring one run. Jocelyn C took the loss for Peru Tigers. The starter went five innings, giving up 23 runs (15 earned) on 21 hits, striking out five and walking none. Peru Tigers tallied eight hits in the game. Maddie K collected two hits for Peru Tigers in three at bats. Jocelyn paced Peru Tigers with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting 11 walks for the game. Delphi Middle School collected 21 hits in the game. Kaelyn provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Delphi Middle School with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 3-for-4 on the day. Rachel, Kaelyn, and Reaghan each collected three hits for Delphi Middle School.
