Peru made the trip back to Round Barn today for the TRC tournament. The teams had to deal with inclement weather early in the round, but eventually the skies cleared and the tournament was able to be completed. The Tigers shot a season low relative to par in an 18-hole round, shooting 367 and finishing 7th (though just nine shots out of 4th). Leading Peru was Rocket Schwartz with a round of 87, narrowly missing out on all-conference honors. Karter Schwartz followed with 91, Ben Wynkoop 93, Aiden Love 96, and Riley Astrup with a career best 97. Northwestern were crowned TRC champions with a round of 337 and Hudson Whaley of Northwestern was the individual medalist with a round of 75. Peru next plays at Rock Hollow on Tuesday in a four-way match with Maconaquah, Cass, and Zionsville. The match is scheduled to start at 4:30. Written by Coach JJ Burns
