🥎Junior High Tigers Win 21-3 Over Maconaquah Maddie K collected three hits in three at bats, as Peru Tigers defeated Maconaquah 21-3 on Tuesday. Maddie singled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the second inning. Peru Tigers scored 11 runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Paisley M drew a walk, scoring one run, Alli S was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Avery S grounded out, scoring one run, Jocelyn C singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Layla R was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Maddie singled, scoring one run, Alli drew a walk, scoring one run, Avery drew a walk, scoring one run, and Jocelyn drew a walk, scoring one run. Peru Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after a steal of home scored one run, Layla drew a walk, scoring one run, Maddie singled, scoring one run, Paisley drew a walk, scoring one run, Alli was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Avery doubled, scoring three runs, Jocelyn singled, scoring one run, and Raymi C drew a walk, scoring one run. Jocelyn earned the win for Peru Tigers. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking none. Paisley M took the loss for Maconaquah. The hurler went two innings, giving up 21 runs (seven earned) on eight hits, striking out none and walking 11. Raymi appeared in relief for Peru Tigers. Peru Tigers piled up eight hits in the game. Jocelyn provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Peru Tigers with four runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Peru Tigers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 11 walks for the game. Alli, Della S, and Paisley led the team with two walks each. Maddie, Avery, and Layla each stole multiple bases for Peru Tigers. Peru Tigers ran wild on the base paths, piling up nine stolen bases for the game. T C led Maconaquah with one run batted in.
