⚾️Varsity Baseball Wins 10-0 Over Whitko Braley collected four hits in four at bats, as Peru Varsity Tigers defeated Whitko 10-0 on Wednesday. Braley hit a home run to left field in the second inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth inning. Peru Varsity Tigers got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Rodriguez walked, Evans flew out, and Boswell singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. Braley homered to left field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the second for the Peru Varsity Tigers. Whitney earned the win for Peru Varsity Tigers. The hurler surrendered two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out five and walking none. Cox took the loss for Whitko. The hurler went four and one-third innings, allowing 10 runs on 12 hits, striking out two and walking four. Peru Varsity Tigers collected 13 hits in the game. Rodriguez provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Peru Varsity Tigers with four runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Skinner and Ebbinghouse each collected one hit for Whitko. Whitko turned one double play in the game. Whitko didn't commit a single error in the field.
