Varsity vs Northwestern Sr. High School (26 - 40) Loss The purple tigers of Northwestern took the momentum away early on Friday capitalizing on early game mistakes by Peru. Peru showed a lot of GRIT however fighting back from what looked like an impossible task. Trailing 40-7 in the 2nd quarter, Peru made a game of it fighting back to a 40-26 final score. Obviously, it was not the game Peru was hoping for but we learned a little about our team when they didn’t roll over and give up. On the night Kasen Hiles scored twice, and Kingston Eldridge scored his fourth TD through the air receiving a bomb from Aiden sheets. Senior defensive standout, Weston Marks, added a score in the second half. Sophomore defensive back, Colt Brock, came up with a key interception in the 4th. But in the end, it was not enough.
