The Peru Tiger Cross Country Coed Team was in action today 9-12-2026 for the Wildcat Classic Invitational at Indiana Wesleyan University. This college course is known for being very flat and quick. Temperatures were reasonable at about 70 degrees with some humidity. The team raced this course well catching spots, and over half of the team saw new Career and Season PR's(Individual fastest 5k times). The Tigers now set their sites to race one of the largest meets in the state of Indiana at New Prairie for the New Prairie Invitational next Saturday. This famous course is well known for its snake pit and agony hill. Our Ladies team placed 14th out of 16 schools against 145 runners with a team score of 337. Evaney Fisher placed 46th with a time of 22:49.3. Alexandra Palm placed 71st with a time of 24:15(Career PR). Bailey Butt placed 72nd with a time of 24:16.1(Season PR). Esther Collie placed 97th with a time of 25:48.4(Season PR). Cassandra Blong placed 107th with a time of 26:49.2. Kenya Ellis placed 123rd with a time of 29:02.6(Career PR) Our Boys team placed 13th out of 22 schools against 212 runners with a team score of 329. Cole Yates placed 37th with a time of 18:25.10(Career PR). Benjamin Garner placed 63rd with a time of 19:15(Career PR). Kaeden Wright placed 68th with a time of 19:28.1(Career PR).
